Cavel is Fusion Forge’s in-house fashion e-commerce brand, fully developed and managed by our engineering team. Running Cavel lets our team handle the full e-commerce flow, giving us constant insight into what works and what breaks. Working with a live brand keeps our team in sync with evolving user expectations and tech demands—shaping the way we design and improve future platforms.
Challenge
The goal was to build a flexible, high-performing platform that could support both online sales and live marketing campaigns. The site had to deliver a smooth user experience across all devices, with clear navigation, fast load times, and a frictionless checkout process.Internally, the system needed to be easy to manage, quick to iterate, and adaptable for testing new features—supporting both the engineering team’s development cycles and the marketing team’s operational needs.
Project Summary
Fusion Forge built the Cavel storefront using Shopify for its e-commerce core, enabling fast setup, reliable transaction handling, and easy product management. The user interface and visual identity were designed in Figma, with an emphasis on simplicity, clarity, and mobile-first responsiveness.The website delivers a frictionless user experience — quick browsing, high-quality product presentation, and optimized checkout flow. Modular design elements also allow the platform to integrate with Fusion Forge’s custom-built event management tool, enabling features like RSVP flows, event-based campaigns, and inventory syncing for limited-edition drops.
Results
We built the Cavel storefront on Shopify to get a stable, fast e-commerce base with built-in tools for payments, inventory, and order management. The UI was designed in Figma, focused on clear visuals, mobile usability, and a clean layout that feels easy to navigate.The site supports smooth product browsing, sharp visuals, and a checkout flow that doesn’t get in the way. Its modular setup also hooks into our custom event tools — so we can run RSVP campaigns, sync stock for limited drops, or launch time-based promos without disrupting the core shop.
